Mobile Doctors, one of the UK’s leading providers of medical evidence, has engaged Health Squared Communications on a project basis to carry out trade media relations and industry relationship building projects.
The agreement comes on the back of Health Squared’s successful completion of four projects over the last six months to raise the profile of Mobile Doctors and connect with key insurance figures and stakeholders.
Since its establishment in 1989, Mobile Doctors has grown organically to provide a twelfth of all the reports required annually within the UK. Its database of 2,500 medical experts and therapists provide independent and objective medical evidence. In addition to its core medical report service, Mobile Doctors has developed a comprehensive medical investigation, diagnostic and rehabilitation service that is provided in partnership with Nuffield Diagnostics and Proactive Health.
Health Squared Communications, the London based full service agency, has already undertaken two media focussed projects for Mobile Doctors; to publicise their significant contract wins worth £10 million over two and a half years; and to announce the success of the Medical Reporting Organisations Agreement with which Mobile Doctors played a leading role.
It has also arranged significant involvement from Mobile Doctors in two key industry discussions, the Claims Process Reform Roundtable on 23rd April and the Rehabilitation Roundtable on 2nd July. They took place in association with the Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII), The Law Society and The Law Report and attracted delegates such as AXA’s David Fisher, Henry Bellingham MP, Lord Charlie Falconer, Lord David Hunt and Professor Mansel Aylward.
Paul Crowther, Marketing Director at Mobile Doctors, said: “In the face of the introduction of new personal injury protocols and the subsequent challenges that these impose on the sector as a whole, it is vital that we emphasise our key role in an ever-changing industry. The success of the initial projects undertaken by Health Squared has already demonstrated their integral role in helping us to achieve this and we see them as vital in the future to reaffirm our position as the trustworthy, cost-effective and innovative medico-legal organisation.”
Heading the Health Squared team is Communications Manager Alastair Cartwright. Formerly an Account Manager at Eloqui PR and Citigate Communications, Alastair will be responsible for the media relations project and work closely with Philippa Robins, Business Development Manager, on the organisation and running of roundtable events.
