Alastair has worked in public relations for eight years carrying out media
relations campaigns for a range of private, government and consumer clients.
Recently he managed corporate communications programmes for General Electric
(GE), Visa, British Gas, the Co-operative Group and the NHS. He has also
managed various awareness-raising campaigns for the Home Office, DTI and
charity organisations, including launching the UK's first not-for-profit bank
'Charity Bank' with Gordon Brown in 2002. At Health Squared Communications
he manages campaigns for GlaxoSmithKline, Pearl Medical, Opinion Health and
Miriam Stoppard Lifetime. Alastair is a trustee of the Metro Centre.

Andrew Wigmore is Group Managing Director of Health Squared Communications and
sister company Gunpowder Media. He is a founder of Pearl Medical and Opinion
Health and co-founded the aim listed digital media company Health Media.
Previously a journalist with Sky News and Channel One he has also advised a
number of Government Ministers and is currently the Policy Director for the
Claims Standards Council.
He is a trustee of the Sir Steve Redgrave Trust, the Dyscovery Centre in
Wales and Sports Fund and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Chris has extensive on and offline publishing experience and produces a number
of online and broadcast news services for clients.
He was previously media monitoring editor and multi-media executive for a
media group before moving to Health Squared Communications where he has
been involved in all aspects of the publishing, content production and
podcast processes.

Daisy has extensive experience in managing event logistics having spent many
years organising press launches, briefings, AGM's and award ceremonies.
Most recently she has organised events for Russell Jones & Walker, the
Claims Standards Council and Sports Fund. She has also had involvement in
staging the Sir Steve Redgrave Trust Charity Ball and helped arrange a
fundraising push for Sir Steve Redgrave in the London Flora Marathon in 2006.
At Health Squared, she is responsible for ensuring venues, catering, collateral
and delegate lists are organised for client and corporate events.

Emma has a background in marketing and promoting events having managed The Baby Show
for two years.
In her previous role she also worked on The BETT Show, The Humanitarian Development
Summit and The House and Garden Fair.
At Health Squared Communications, Emma provides marketing communications support.

With over 12 years experience in large-scale development projects for a diverse
range of companies including BAE Systems, James brings valuable project management
and system design skills to Health Squared Communications.
In addition to his management skills, James has extensive knowledge and certifications
in a range of Internet technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML, WML, XML,
SSL, SQL, Linux/FreeBSD administration and Internet/Web distributed systems.
Leading the digital media team, James is also well versed in new media development,
audio and visual production and editing.

Lily acts as the bookkeeper at Health Squared Communications. With over 20 years
experience of working with small and medium sized businesses, Lily handles the
accountancy and finances of the company.

Matthew joined Health Squared Communications from Newsquest Media where he was a
Sponsorship Sales Account Manager. In previous roles he has been involved in
launching Britney Spears’ ‘Curious’ fragrance in the UK, working on Heinz’s
sponsorship of ITV soap Emmerdale, and providing PR campaign support for
Johnson & Johnson and Dairy Crest.
Matthew has extensive sales, sponsorship and events experience, and will be
handling the day-to-day event management for clients at Health Squared and
securing sponsors for client events.

Michael Collyer is a Non-Executive Director of Health Squared Communications.
As the former head of the Nutrition Division at Nestle UK and currently the
Governor of the British Nutrition Foundation, Michael brings strong management
experience and industry knowledge to the company. Michael has worked for Nestle
for almost 40 years, starting off as a food scientist then moving to head up the
Food Imports Division, the Industrial Ingredients and Flavours Business and
latterly Director of Nutrition. Michael left Nestle in 2006 and now holds several
posts, including Chairman of the Infant and Dietetic Foods Association.

Philip brings 15 years of mobile and technology business experience to Health
Squared Communications having worked closely with CompuServe and Martin Dawes
telecoms in the early 90's pioneering early use of mobile technology and
healthcare.
A founder of breathe.com, one of the UK's first mobile ISP's, Phil has used
the knowledge and experience of those early experimental companies to create
and co-found Pearl Medical and Opinion Health product offerings.

With a background in sponsorship and event management, previously heading up the
events sales team at Insurance Times Magazine, Philippa has extensive experience
in securing sponsorship for client events and managing the events from conception,
design, delegate organisation through to execution. Most recently she secured
commercial support from the UK and global insurance market for the Climate Change
2007 event and The Insurance Times Awards.
Philippa also handles media planning and buying on behalf of Health Squared
Communications’ clients.

Piotr has seven years experience as a graphic and website designer, moving
into design following a few years specialising in business management.
Before joining Health Squared Communications, Piotr spent six years as a
freelance web designer creating websites for leading polish corporations.
He also worked for Torchbox in Oxfordshire where he was responsible for the
design of websites and print materials for BiTC, WRAP, RecycleNow
and Opportunity Now.
Piotr heads up the design team with responsibility for web, print,
corporate identity and literature design.
