I started training with Ben over a year ago. At that point I was looking for a way to boost my energy levels and stamina, to keep up with the challenges of bringing up 2 teenagers and returning to work. Although not vastly overweight I also wanted to lose about half a stone.
The programmes set up for me were challenging, but achievable with Ben’s help and encouragement.
Ben has made regular changes to the programme to ensure I continue to progress, incorporating new exercises and nutrition advice he has picked up from the various courses he attends. He was able to find alternative exercises when I had injuries so I could carry on training effectively, as well as offering advice on how to help recovery.
I am more aware now of what I am eating, portion sizes and that you don’t need to beat yourself up if you have a “bad” day, provided you get back on track as soon as possible!
This is the longest I have stuck at an exercise programme which is all down to the regular but varied sessions with Ben, which means I have not got bored and been able to remain focussed.
I now feel I have more energy. I have also lost 10lbs and, more importantly, I have not put the weight back on (which has happened before with slimming clubs and diets).
I have dropped from a size 14 to a size 10!!
I feel a lot happier about the way I look and feel.
